The Story

Covid. The end.

Just kidding, but seriously, Covid hit in 2020 and we felt it just like the rest of the world. We have four kids, all in an assortment of sports and activities. My parents moved here after retiring from the Washington D.C. area. They actually built a home right across from Miami Valley South Stadium! They loved walking across the street and watching their grandson play football. Covid took that away, among many other aspects of our society that we used to take for granted.

We were already heavily involved in the Bellbrook Football Community. We ran the box at the majority of the peewee football games, then middle school, Michael has been announcing football games since 2016. So when Covid sidelined the grandparents my wonderful hubby, being the tech savvy (self proclaimed) nerd that he is, figured out how to live stream the games so Mimi and Papa wouldn't miss out! We decided, hey why not share the link with the rest of the families? So we did. At the time Talon was in 7th Grade, from there it sort of snowballed, and to make a long story short, we have been streaming the Bellbrook High School Varsity football games since 2020!

Knowing the schools weren't in the position to invest in the equipment needed, and our community was struggling with the pandemic, we decided to first rent the equipment on our own dime, then eventually we starting buying, more and more equipment. Never ending equipment! To subsidize those costs I (Emily) decided to start taking pictures for family friends here and there. Well similar to our streaming venture, the photography took off as well!

So there is our less than exciting story. We are proud of it though, we are proud to be a part of our community and our schools!
