HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
I recommend if you’re seriously interested in a session to reach out sooner than later and discuss time frames! Life’s short! Eat the cake and book the session!
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?
Hair and makeup is included in all of my boudoir shoots! I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! I’m willing to try anything, whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or Full on glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to use it for inspiration!
DO I HAVE TO WEAR LINGERIE?
You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it depends on your personality! There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things! Once you’ve booked your appointment I talk extensively with you about what to wear if you are struggling. I also have some items from my Client Closet I bring to the shoot for you to try if you’re really stuck on choosing.
DO YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?
My number one priority is making sure my clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! It can be a life-changing experience, but that also makes it nerve-wracking! Sometimes, you are learning how to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the world, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your spouse and aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!
DO YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
I do edit your images for light, exposure, some smoothing and color balance.I do NOT however edit anything “out” that is permanent! I think it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that you are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! I am skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and bring out your shine!
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
I aim to make boudoir affordable for everyone. I offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot, and the balance is due one week before the date of the shoot! If you want more time to be able to pay off the shoot, you can schedule it a few months out, and pay it off in payments! Let me know if this is something that you want to set up!
EXCUSE - I NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT FIRST
Whoever said the camera adds 10 pounds definitely didn’t know what they were doing… because I can melt those 10 pounds off you with great lighting and expert posing faster than any diet and exercise can. True fact! Your body is perfect, strong, and beautiful as it is, right now. Properly fitted lingerie and other attire can also go a long way in smoothing and enhancing your features! I help with every step, I’m basically your built in BFF through the entire process. It’s my favorite part of this job! Is making you feel your best and create some beautiful art!
EXCUSE - I’M SCARED / EMBARASSED
There is absolutely no reason to be scared or embarrassed to have a boudoir photo session. I am a judgement-free individual, and I practice body-positivity exclusively during our shoot. No negative self-talk allowed! Every body is beautiful and we will celebrate yours. I will be your biggest cheerleader on this road to self-love, body acceptance, and empowerment. Fair warning, I’ll probably hug you when you leave! You are welcome and appreciated!
